Welcome to Alpe d’Huez and La Source Ski Chalet France, located in the picturesque village of Villard Reculas, close to Alpe d’Huez and Vaujany, France, in one of the best ski & snowboarding regions of the French Alps. We offer a choice of ski accommodation to suit all budgets and tastes.

At Chalet La Source we provide comfortable catered accommodation for up to 16 guests with free airport transfers and a friendly inclusive ski guiding service.

Villard Reculas is ideally situated for a quiet skiing & snowboarding holiday with fast easy access to one of the largest and most sought after ski areas in Europe. Alpe d’Huez has the Sarenne, the longest European black ski run, whilst also having a great variety of pistes for the less experienced skier & snowboarder. Snow cannons have been installed from the top of Signal Hill to Villard Reculas, to ensure snow-sure return pistes throughout the season. We are also within easy driving distance of Les Deux Alpes and La Grave.

To add to our eco credentials, since the village faces sunny south, we have installed solar panels which generates over 30% of our daily heating and hot water requirements during the winter months. We are also  enthuastic of other environmental issues and encourage re-cycling, composting and ethical purchasing, and we hope that our guests are equally enthuastic by our initiatives  

This season we are planning to provide the opportunity for winter sports enthusiasts to join us for either a weeks snow shoeing excursion - winter walking, or perfect the off piste disciplines with a weeks coaching and fun!.

The Jacuzzi installed on the outdoor decking provides spectacular views of the surrounding Ecrin mountains - a relaxing and therapeutic finish to a hard days skiing & snowboarding!
