Uncomplicated Travel

We are independent and able to provide suggestions and advice on the most economical, convenient and quickest travel arrangements to the ski resort – flights, rail or self-drive.

Private free transfers are provided to catered ski chalet guests on the chalet transfer day

Transfer times: Lyon St Exupery airport – 2 hours, Grenoble airport – 1.5 hours

If necessary there are buses from both airports to Grenoble bus station, where onward connections are possible to Villard Reculas. E-mail for details Transfers available at other times- please e-mail for details. The La Source minibus is equipped with car seat belts, and child booster seats are available.

Easyjet flights have been announced for this winter 2010-2011, and we are still awaiting news from Ryanair and maybe other companies. What is for sure is that frequency has been reduced and prices increased!!

Grenoble remains the airport of choice for ‘inclusive’ transfers to La Source, but we are aware of the limited choice this season.  We will be happy to discuss alternative airports (Lyon and Chambery) as long as the flight times fit in with other guests transfer arrangements. These alternative airports will be subject to a surcharge to cover the costs of additional fuel and motorway toll costs

The flights listed below are the recommended flights to Grenoble that are convenient for transfers to La Source Villard Reculas. The ‘La Source’ minibus will be at the airport each Sunday between 1100 and 1300 hours for incoming flights.

Please Note: Easyjet’s Birmingham flight to Grenoble is not too convenient for ‘back to back’ transfers!

Important Note: Please confirm with La Source by email that the flights that you intend to book are convenient for transfers to/from Villard Reculas.

Morning flights to Grenoble allow the possibility of short transfers and an early afternoon arrival in Villard Reculas for a possible few hours skiing!
